KT-AES50 - What does bidirectional mean?

Some users new to the KT-AES50 card used with their chosen network may find the product detail confusing when it states:
"Up to 48 bidirectional channels @ 48 kHz or 96 kHz"

This may appear that the user has to make a choice between which of the 48 channels can be inputs and which ones are to be outputs but this is not the case.

"Bidirectional" actually means is that the card can take 48 inputs and also generate 48 outputs without sacrificing channel count.
